Understanding ‘Latching / One Touch’ Buttons in Elevators
The term ‘Latching / One Touch’ means that you need only press the button once (there is no need to keep the button continually pressed). These buttons are now the norm on most landing call stations and can be used on the lift platform COP, if the user is fully enclosed on all four sides (i.e. when you have a cabin complete with inner car doors).
