The Altus Step Lift brings together thoughtful design and dependable performance to deliver accessible travel between two levels in an indoor or outdoor setting. Built for both home and commercial use, its sleek and contemporary aesthetics sits comfortably within any environment.
Engineered to carry up to 500kg, the Altus is available in two models offering travel heights of up to two or three metres, with three platform sizes and different configurations to suit different spaces and user needs. The half height doors can be re-handed to open either direction to give installers and specifiers real flexibility.
The integrated pump unit and controls remove the need for a separate control unit, keeping the installation neat and compact, reducing build time and minimising the risk of vandalism in public-facing locations. Installation is typically completed within a day, with no structural alterations required.
Smooth and quiet hydraulic-drive operation ensures safe and comfortable travel for wheelchair users, ambulant users and attendants alike. Battery backup and a manual lowering system provide reassurance should the power be interrupted.
The Altus comes with a wide range of optional extras, including automatic doors, braille controls, autodialler, arrival chimes and voice annunciation, which allow the lift to be specified precisely for its intended environment.
