Inclined stairlift creates access for all at Harewood House
Outdoor platform stairlift creates access to garden
Harewood House, an 18th-century country house and popular visitor attraction in Yorkshire, needed a replacement platform stairlift for the external steps leading to its main State Hall entrance. Level Access Lifts installed a GTLE inclined stairlift in a standard aluminium silver finish, with a fully bespoke rail system engineered to accommodate six steps of varying height and depth. A compelling example of how an inclined stairlift can deliver modern, dignified access in a sensitive heritage environment without impacting on the historic fabric of the building.
